S Tree Clinic’s psychological treatments include counseling, psychotherapy, and another psychological intervention, which will be planned and organized by a client together with one of our therapists, based on the client’s symptoms, severity, and necessity.
The approach of the treatment will be applied based on a therapist’s decision, abided by a client’s expectation, conditions, personality characteristics, and believes, based on the therapist’s professional judgment and expertise.
A program of treatment usually requires at least 8-12 weekly sessions (for a brief therapy); however, the number of session and duration may vary depending on severity and specific treatment goal. The treatment plan and expected duration shall be discussed during the first meeting. After the first visit, a client has a right to continue, discontinue, or make a change of the plan. In case of discontinuing, a client has a responsibility to inform us in advance before the next appointment.
In case of emergency or high risk of danger, our therapists have the right and professional responsibility to take an appropriate action in order to prevent the risk, or minimize the negative outcomes, or refer a client to a medical setting, such as Suanprung Psychiatric Hospital or nearest hospital.

Each session usually requires 45-60 minutes for individual, and 60-90 minutes for a couple or a family. Late arrival cannot be a reason for time extension.
